Health and Social Care National Lead for Older Offenders Department of Health and Chair Older Prisoners Action Group S.W.
Mike qualified as a nurse and an in charge prison governor and has worked in delivering health care in prisons since 1977, working at 10 prisons in that time; including being Head Of Health Care at HMP Liverpool.
Mike is keen to take this work forward both in professional roles and because of a high level of personal commitment to delivering a higher standard of care for this disenfranchised group of people.
